Sometimes in the winter you just need a refreshing, vibrant smoothie with fresh fruit and wholesome ingredients.

This smoothie jar is a 1-blender situation, requires only 5 minutes of preparation and only ingredients. And it has me seriously excited for breakfast/lunch every day. Also giving me the energy boost I need to get through my day!

Blackberry Sunrise Smoothie Jar

Servings 1 smoothie jar

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen blackberries
  • splash of almond milk

Toppings:

  • fresh blackberries
  • fresh banana, sliced
  • choice of granola

Instructions

  1. In a high powered blender, add frozen banana slices, frozen blackberries, spinach and blend till smooth. Adding almond milk as needed to loosen ingredients up. Keep in mind you want your smoothie on the thicker side, so be gentle with almond milk serving.

  2. When all blended and consistency is smooth, transfer smoothie to mason jar. How I layered: granola, smoothie, granola, fresh banana slices, and blackberries. Enjoy!
