Strawberry Banana Coconut Smoothie Bowl

Servings 1

Ingredients

Smoothie Base

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 handful fresh strawberries
  • 1 splash almond milk

Toppings

  • granola of choice (I used a simple homemade recipe)
  • fresh Strawberries, sliced
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • raspberries
  • shredded coconut
  • chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Add strawberries to high-powered blender (I use a Vitamix) and blend on low until strawberries are smaller bits.

  2. Add frozen banana pieces to blender and blend on low until ingredients start to break down together. Add a splash of almond milk to help with the blending of ingredients. Smoothie should be a soft serve consistency.

  3. Scoop smoothie into bowl, add your desired toppings (mine are just an option - so always use whatever is at hand) and eat up!
