5 Minute Natural Peanut Butter

This recipe is SO easy, and a delicious addition to any pantry.
If you like creamy, crunchy, sweet, salty, or an all natural taste you can choose your preference with makin’ it homemade style… I’ve actually been waiting to make my own peanut butter for awhile, and finally the opportunity came!
Have you ever read the ingredients on the back of popular peanut butter brands? I’m sure if you read the back label you’d probably have some difficulty pronouncing some of the words, or thinking to yourself “what does this have to do with peanut butter?” My advice when buying an edible product, if you can’t pronounce the ingredients it’s not really worth buying. 🙂
HOMEMADE PEANUT BUTTER THOUGH?! It’s incredibly easy, you control what ingredients you put IN it, and I found it’s actually cheaper than buying natural peanut butter. I’ll take it.

- 16 oz dry roasted peanuts, unsalted
- 1-2 tsp honey
- additional salt to taste (optional)
Add peanuts to food processor (I used a Vitamix), turn low-medium speed till you see the peanut breaking down. Turn up to medium-high speed and let run for 1-2 minutes till peanuts have broken down into a creamy texture. Add honey towards end, with any additional salt to taste - blend together and enjoy!
Seal and store in fridge for up to 1 month.
