I have a serious thing for a good caprese salad. I’ve been eating this all week and have been loving it (AND the awesome spring-like weather). I almost didn’t share this salad because of how simple it is, but simple is my blogs middle name (see what I did there? ?) and I enjoyed this salad waaaay too much to not share. So here we are!

This salad has everything I love! Avocado, sweet bites of fruit, tangy balsamic, my favorite herb BASIL, and a few other delicious vegetables. Yes, yes, yes. This is pretttty much what I call my ultimate salad. I am obsessed with tossing fruit into salads, and whenever I find a good combo I can’t help but share about it.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 1/2 cup strawberries sliced
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • mozzarella balls
  • fresh basil leaves roughly chopped
  • leafy greens
  • balsamic dressing

Instructions

  1. Lay bed of greens in a bowl and add all fruits and vegetables on top. Use balsamic glaze or dressing for serving.
