Loaded Detox Chia Salad
It’s 2017 (whaaaaa?!) and we are talking about this yummy detox salad!
I’m incredibly excited for this next year–especially for ASP! New recipes to cook up, new photos to snap, and tons of food to EAT.
I’ve also been in complete need of a healthy reset after the holidays, so this loaded detox salad has been the best solution.
This has been my current favorite. I’m crazy about the flavors, the colors, the texture–ALL of it! I made it twice the other day with lunch AND dinner. It’s detoxifying, nourishing, healthy, and so delicious!
If you are looking for a new recipe to lighten up the new year, this is one to add to your list. I can’t think of a better way to step into the new year than with a bowl of greens and eyes towards what’s a head…. Okay, and chocolate on the side would be cool too. <3

Detox salad packed with greens, avocado, chia seeds, and a little fruit for sweetness.
- 2 cups Mixed greens
- 3 Radish, sliced
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cups Strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup Cucumber
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- Balsamic Vinaigrette:
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Layer salad ingredients in bowl.
- In a mason jar with a lid, shake all dressing ingredients together until completely combined (can also whisk in bowl).
- Drizzle salad with dressing and serve.
