Ingredients

  • 2 cups + 2 tbsp Bobs Red Mill 1-to-1 gluten free flour blend
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • pizza sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Pizza toppings: tomatoes, mushrooms, zucchini, and fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Add to electric mixing bowl - flour (2 cups + 2 Tbsp), yeast and salt. Mix ingredients together. Add warm water and mix until dough forms. If dough is too sticky, gently add more flour until consistency is that of regular dough.

  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lay dough out on sheet of parchment paper and roll into pie shape, pulling edges forward and tucking underneath to create crust. Transfer parchment paper with dough onto sheet pan/pizza pan.

  3. Brush dough with olive oil and place pie in oven to bake for 10 minutes. Remove pie after it's slightly baked on it's own and preheat oven to 450. Spread sauce, cheese and vegetable toppings on pizza (except fresh basil). Place back in oven for 12 minutes, or until crust has turned golden brown. I broiled my pizza on high for 2 extra minutes to give it a slight char.

  4. Garnish pizza with fresh basil, and parmesan cheese. And seriously friends, ENJOY!

Notes

Add any additional pizza toppings preferred.

I don’t see where it says in your directions to let the crust rise for 40 minutes? It does say it in your foot notes. Please help me understand your recipe, I really want to try this amazing gluten free crust. Thanks!
