This recipe is extremely delicious, incredibly creamy, and it requires no fancy tools or ice cream makers! Just a high-powered blender or food processor to make it all happen. 

You can easily customize the flavors, add fun ice cream toppings, and I promise you – everyone will love it! 

Ingredients You Need

You’ll need only 5 super simple ingredients to make this recipe happen. Here’s everything you’ll need:

Bananas: preferably super ripe bananas! The more ripe – the sweeter the taste. 
Almond milk: any nut milk works, this is to use as a liquid to help break down the bananas in the blender. 
Cinnamon: for flavor! 
Vanilla extract: this will help enhance the flavors of all the ingredients used. 
Maple syrup: to add a touch of sweetness!

Tips for Success

Proper blending tools – in order to get the ice cream blended super creamy and smooth you’ll need a high-powered blender or food processor. 
Use ripe bananas – you’ll want to make sure the bananas you use are ripe so that the taste is sweet. 
Slice banana before freezing – the best method for freezing bananas is slicing them into pieces before freezing. A whole frozen banana will be a lot harder to blend.

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen bananas, cut into pieces
  • Almond milk (as needed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract 
  • 1/2 teaspoon Maple syrup or honey

Instructions

  1. Blend ingredients: in either a high-powered blender or food processor, add frozen banana pieces, cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup. Add a splash of almond milk and turn on blender, add milk as needed to help blend ingredients. Note: be mindful not to add too much liquid because you want the consistency to be thick like ice cream.

  2. Taste and serve: when consistency is creamy and smooth, taste and adjust flavor if needed with additional cinnamon or sweetener. Serve immedietly and enjoy!
