This crowd-pleasing breakfast pizza is a delicious new way to start the day! Make it happen in just a quick 10 minutes by using naan bread as your dough. It's simple yet full of flavor, and perfect for weekend brunching!
Prep naan bread: First, preheat oven to 450F. Place naan breads on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Then arrange the mozzarella cheese around the naan, leaving the center area open for the egg. Tip:create a "nest" with the cheese to prevent the egg whites from escaping onto the pan.
Add the egg and parmesan: Then crack the egg and gently place in the center of the pizza. Sprinkle with fresh parmesan over top and a generous pinch of everything seasoning.
Bake: Place pizzas in oven and bake for 8 minutes, then broil on HIGH for an additional 20-30 seconds to brown the cheese.
Add toppings and serve: Remove pizzas from oven and sprinkle with diced avocado, chopped cilantro, and a splash of hot sauce or sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired. Enjoy!
Notes
Avoid a runny egg mess: in a couple of recipe tests, I noticed it was easy for the egg whites to escape the pizza and get all over the pan. To avoid this, create a "nest" with the cheese around the naan bread. So when you crack the egg, it is kept in place and can't run off the bread.
