We’ve all heard of cauliflower pizza – but today we are slicing up some cauliflower into “steaks” and serving them up as pizza just on their own! They’re not only SUPER easy to make, but they’re delicious, and take only 4 ingredients to make. SIMPLE and quick – I’m all about it.

If you’re looking for creative ways to get more veggies into your diet, or looking for a low-carb way to enjoy your favorite comfort food – this recipe will for sure satisfy! It’s cheesy, saucy, and so DELICIOUS.

4 Ingredients You’ll Need

Cauliflower: sliced into 1 1/2 inch “steak” cuts.
Oil: I recommend extra virgin olive oil.
Sauce: you can use store-bought pizza sauce or pasta sauce as well.
Mozzarella: you can use fresh or pre-shredded mozzarella.

How to Make Cauliflower Steak Pizza – Step by Step

First, drizzle cauliflower with oil, season with salt, and roast at 400F for 25 minutes – flipping halfway through.

Then spread with sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Broil on HIGH for 1 minute until cheese is slightly browned and melted.

Recipe Variations

Meat toppings: add cooked sausage or pepperoni slices for flavor and protein.

Veggie toppings: add slices olives, thinly sliced peppers, or roasted cherry tomatoes.

Herbs & seasonings: season with a little red pepper flakes for spice, or herbs like dried oregano or fresh basil.

  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Remove cauliflower stems, wash, and then slice into 1 1/2-inch thick "steaks".

  2. Lay cauliflower on a sheet pan – drizzle with oil and brush on both sides. Season with salt and roast for 15 minutes – use a spatula to flip and roast for another 10 minutes.

  3. Remove cauliflower from oven. Set oven broiler to HIGH – then spread sauce and sprinkle cheese over cauliflower steaks. Broil for 1 minute until cheese is melted and slightly browned. Serve steaks with fresh basil and other desired toppings.
