Ingredients You Need
You’ll need only handful of ingredients to make this recipe happen: naan, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese (optional but great for flavor!), pizza sauce, and fresh chopped basil.

How to Make 10-Minute Naan Pizza
#1 Sauce – use a homemade pizza sauce recipe or your favorite store bought.

#2 Add your toppings – Sprinkle shredded or sliced mozzarella and a little parmesan cheese. You can also use your favorite Italian cheese blend.

Simple Ways to Add Flavor
Add even more flavor to your pizza by utilizing your spice cabinet, using fresh herbs, or adding more cheeses!
First, let’s start with the cheese. Since mozzarella doesn’t have the most flavor, we love adding freshly grated parmesan over top before baking! It adds a salty, nutty flavor and melts beautifully.

When the pizza is finished, we hit the spice cabinet or use up our fresh herbs on hand. We love adding fresh chopped basil or oregano, or using dried oregano for an herb flavor. Another must is red pepper flakes for a little spicy kick!
These ingredients are so simple yet really pack on the flavor.
More Pizza Toppings
Who doesn’t love pizza toppings?! And since these pizza’s are so small, you can easily personalize them to make things fun and even more delicious.
Our favorite toppings are: roasted vegetables, sliced olives, pepperoni, cooked meatballs, and cooked Italian sausage.
Tip if using vegetable toppings: I don’t recommend adding raw vegetable to these pizzas because they cook quickly in the oven and won’t allow the veggies enough time to soften. Pre-cook vegetables either in a pan or roast them before adding to your pizzas.

Extra Recipe Notes
- Crispy crust tip: Make your crust even better by pre-baking your naan. Bake for 3-4 minutes in the oven, carefully remove — add sauce, cheese, extra toppings, and bake for 3-4 more minutes or until cheese has melted. This will give your pizza more texture and a less doughy taste!
- Make it healthier: Swap regular naan for whole wheat (if available at your local grocery store).
- Pizza sauce choices: you can use a regular pizza sauce, marinara, or use fire roasted crushed tomatoes for an easy and fresh flavor!
Pair it with a soup!
Whenever serving up personalized pizzas, I love pairing them with a hearty vegetable soup! Such as our Healthy Tomato Basil Soup, Tuscan White Bean Soup, or this hearty Italian Minestrone Soup.

Thank you Bethany for this amazing recipe. I tried it today and it came out so well.
I have tried your recipes and never once it has failed. Thanks a ton.
Thank you so much, Alberinta! So happy all the recipes have been enjoyed. And the naan pizzas 🙂
Amazing! I am Italian and I live in Rome, do you know the secret to a good pizza? It is important to use good quality olive oil and add a little sugar to the flour so that the dough is tastier and with a better body. Also, it is essential not to mix the salt directly with the yeast because that affects the levitation. These and many more secrets are in this very useful Master Class https://eb4.co/0b1f5686 for beginners and experts, I share it with you!
I happened to have a couple bigger (‘toaster size’) naan from Stonefire, as well as some left-over mozzarella and saw your recipe. I use my top oven (electric, grr) the most because it’s small (only one rack) so uses less energy when cooking for us. (‘Us’ being my husband and I.) Because of this I’m very hesitant to cook anything on the rack, because below it are heating elements. Instead, I chucked a baking pan covered with tin foil into the oven to preheat with it, put the pre-made pizzas on the preheated pan, cooked for right around nine minutes, and they were perfect. The only reason the time went over was because I got distracted briefly before taking them out.
I will never buy a pre-made frozen pizza ever again. Ever. Two of these plus a salad (more vegetables!) are perfect for one person, as well as delicious! The naan was perfect, still tender under all of the sauce and cheese, with a slightly crispy chewy aspect that was not unlike fresh pizza. Five stars for ease, flavor, and ability to change toppings as often as you wish.
Thank you!
woop! Thank you so much, Kate! Really happy to hear you enjoyed them so much 🙂
Pre-baking the naan makes all the difference. My family loves how quick and easy the pizzas cook. We make ours without the pizza sauce or marinara – just cheese and toppings.
wonderful! Pre-baking definitely adds the crispiness!
The naan bread pizzas looked so good, I had to try one right away. The recipe was super easy to follow and they taste as good as they look.
just made 4 naans as per recipe but we added..pepperoni slices, green pepers, onion slices…Excellent pizzas…
the naan breads after 8mins. with toppings came out edges a little crunchy ( nice ) and the rest nicely baked !!!!!
I will make these often !!!!
tkx..Joanne
I’m so happy to hear that! It’s such an easy way to do pizza. Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
For naan pizzas it’s always turns out great if you brush olive oil on the edges. your crust comes out way better. A little tip I gained from working at a college deli/pizza shop.
Thank you for this tip. I’m making them for the first time tonight!
Love that idea!
I make naan garlic pizzas once a month for me and my husband. It’s more like ‘homemade’ and I can add whatever toppings we like. And so feel like we’re eating healthier, too, which is important because my husband has a serious heart condition.
Absolutely perfect and so easy. Love the crispy bottom. Did mine with fresh mozzarella, spinach and Italian sausage. Thank you for this! Big fan of all your recipes. 😘
Thank you so much Mike! I’m so happy to hear this 🙂
