Ingredients You Need
You’ll need only handful of ingredients to make this recipe happen: naan, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese (optional but great for flavor!), pizza sauce, and fresh chopped basil.

How to Make 10-Minute Naan Pizza
#1 Sauce – use a homemade pizza sauce recipe or your favorite store bought.

#2 Add your toppings – Sprinkle shredded or sliced mozzarella and a little parmesan cheese. You can also use your favorite Italian cheese blend.

Simple Ways to Add Flavor
Add even more flavor to your pizza by utilizing your spice cabinet, using fresh herbs, or adding more cheeses!
First, let’s start with the cheese. Since mozzarella doesn’t have the most flavor, we love adding freshly grated parmesan over top before baking! It adds a salty, nutty flavor and melts beautifully.

When the pizza is finished, we hit the spice cabinet or use up our fresh herbs on hand. We love adding fresh chopped basil or oregano, or using dried oregano for an herb flavor. Another must is red pepper flakes for a little spicy kick!
These ingredients are so simple yet really pack on the flavor.
More Pizza Toppings
Who doesn’t love pizza toppings?! And since these pizza’s are so small, you can easily personalize them to make things fun and even more delicious.
Our favorite toppings are: roasted vegetables, sliced olives, pepperoni, cooked meatballs, and cooked Italian sausage.
Tip if using vegetable toppings: I don’t recommend adding raw vegetable to these pizzas because they cook quickly in the oven and won’t allow the veggies enough time to soften. Pre-cook vegetables either in a pan or roast them before adding to your pizzas.

Extra Recipe Notes
- Crispy crust tip: Make your crust even better by pre-baking your naan. Bake for 3-4 minutes in the oven, carefully remove — add sauce, cheese, extra toppings, and bake for 3-4 more minutes or until cheese has melted. This will give your pizza more texture and a less doughy taste!
- Make it healthier: Swap regular naan for whole wheat (if available at your local grocery store).
- Pizza sauce choices: you can use a regular pizza sauce, marinara, or use fire roasted crushed tomatoes for an easy and fresh flavor!
Pair it with a soup!
Whenever serving up personalized pizzas, I love pairing them with a hearty vegetable soup! Such as our Healthy Tomato Basil Soup, Tuscan White Bean Soup, or this hearty Italian Minestrone Soup.

Delicious and so easy. I am often living in a town that does not have a decent really thin crust za. Oddly, this is a great, easy and cheap substitute.
It really is great if you don’t have any good pizza options locally. When we lived in Los Angeles, my husband and I would always make our crispy cast iron pizza because we didn’t have any good pizza spots. It’s another pizza worth trying! 🙂 Thanks for sharing, Maryl!
Loved this recipe! I used pepperoni, mushrooms, olives & just simply delicious😋
Baked pizza in the air fryer… perfection!
Hi Bethany, I came upon this recipe and wanted to make it right away. Since I was out of Marinara sauce I used a jar of Salsa with a couple of spoons of sweet chili sauce instead. It was quite good. Thank you.
So happy this recipe could work out with what you had, thanks so much for sharing 🙂
Can I used those fresh mozzarella balls instead of shredded cheese
What is considered a serving? We are watching calories and my husband ate the one whole Naan. This was delicious and I’ll definitely make it again (probably this week 😊)
Hi Deborah! One serving is one naan pizza 🙂 Glad you and your husband enjoyed them!
We love Naan pizza. Our favorite is pesto with fresh sliced mozzarella, sliced tomato, finely sliced basil and a little shredded parmesan…soooo good
We bring these camping, the grandkids love them, I bring all different toppings and let them make there own. Then I cook them on my grill!
that’s so fun to hear! I never thought of using these for camping but it’s perfect. Thank you for sharing, Linda! So glad to hear it 🙂
Naan pizza it was so delicious thank you so much for putting up this recipe I made it for my kids today and they really enjoyed it a lot they requested me to try it again for them
Thank you so much, Supriya! So glad you enjoyed it 🙂
I love naan flatbread pizzas (use Stonefire brand). I have been making them for years with all kinds of toppings, the possibilities are endless. For the traditional I use both mozzarella and grated romano cheese (Locatelli) and Dell’Amore pizza sauce, the best sauce (in my opinion) ever to come from a jar. I have also tried grilling them on either a gas or charcoal grill. Just brush very lightly with olive oil before adding your toppings and watch them carefully. They come out great this way as well. Enjoy your site, have a lot of delicious easy recipes.
These pizzas look absolutely delicious! I love that
We’ve made these weekly since discovering your recipe!! I even made for my Mom & she loved them too! Excellent & easy recipe, highly recommend!!! Deserves more stars!!! I make some without tomato sauce & just olive oil, garlic, & herbs, covered with mozzarella & toppings.
So thrilled you love them so much! Thanks so much for sharing. They really are the easiest and surprisingly so tasty!
Been doing this for a long time, too. It’s oddly reminiscent of elementary school cafeteria pizza, circa 1980s and back. My kids have no idea what I’m talking about when I tell them these things. LOL
